Our Work

We create original music,  produce and execute music video campaigns that incite and inspire social change, host educational music and mental health workshops through our Let's Grow platform, create impact-driven films and musicals, and support mission focused artists through our Let's Act Concert.  We have partnered with global non-profit organisations, institutions such as the United Nations, and local and international schools, and have achieved real impact through action-based roadmaps and goals, and even formed legislative change. â€‹

Come Back Home -Abaco Relief Song Campaign

"Come Back Home" (Abaco relief song) was written by our founder and director, Piera Van de Wiel. This music campaign was created after Hurricane Dorian destroyed the Abaco Islands. It included survivors of Hurricane Dorian in the ending chorus - a clear message to bring people together.

OUR IMPACT:

  • This music video campaign raised incredible funds for immediate food and water distribution. Partnering with Water Gen to turn the air's moisture into drinkable water for the locals.

  • Another partnership was with the Rotary Club of the Bahamas for a mattress drive, "Sleep Soundly."

  • Funds raised through the song and the campaign helped to raise enough capital to build a primary school in Coopers Town.

  • Musical performances in Abaco for on-the-ground moral boosting and local engagement, Florida for the Hope For Abaco Relief Concert for raising further funds, London Abaco Concert to seek donors to help rebuild towns and villages, and in Saint Lucia with the Aspire Artemis Foundation on the inclusion of Arts in STE(A)M

  • Launching STE(A)M at the United Nations HQ in New York for dignitaries and ambassdors on how music can bring about real impact and support mental health.

  • "Come Back Home" won the Silver Medal for Listener Impact at the Global Music Awards.

Used - Music campaign with the United Nations Spotlight Initiative

"Used" was a song written by our Founder, Piera Van de Wiel, and this campaign focused on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls. Through the music video campaign, we included the warning signs of domestic violence and incorporated the "signal for help" hand gesture, and we included domestic abuse survivors in the music video.

OUR IMPACT:

  • We partnered with the United Nations Spotlight Initiative and produced the #Withher online series, curating and speaking with abuse survivors, including topics of conversation with major online influencers telling their stories and sharing how listeners can support women and help end violence against women

  • We partnered with the Canadian Women's Foundation and, by incorporating the "signal for help" into our campaign, helped make this hand gesture go viral on TikTok. A physical gesture, when performed, serves as an alert to a passerby or to someone who may need your help.

  • The "Used" campaign was publicly endorsed by Dame Floella Benjamin and written into the Domestic Abuse Bill at the House of Lords.

  • The Campaign was shown at the CARICOM Conference on Ending Violence Against Women, sparking conversation and action towards how to support women and girls in Caribbean countries.

  • Our Founder, Piera Van de Wiel, was listed as one of the "Top 15 Artists using Music to promote Human Rights alongside Bono, Sting, and Alicia Keys."

It Will Go By - Mental Health Series

A song collection focusing on mental health.

"It Will Go By," the first single from this song collection, incorporates the guided box breathing technique and the 5,4,3,2,1 sensory grounding technique.

OUR IMPACT:

  • Performances at Microsoft in New York City on the Importance of Mental Health with Growing A.I. with the Aspire Artemis Foundation, in attendance were global dignitaries and ambassadors.

  • We partnered with Aspire Artemis Foundation and held a mental health conference for school kids in the Tri-State area. The children joined in singing, engaged in box breathing together, and we had an interactive discussion about music and mental health, and shared their favorite music tracks that support their mental health journeys.

  • We aim to partner with additional organisations to host in-person events and performances at schools and youth centres.

Won't be Displaced - Film

Our film "Won't Be Displaced" is a narrative short film about a queer refugee from Nigeria resettling in the UK, underscored with original music.

LOGLINE:

Orisa, a queer Nigerian refugee, resettles in the UK and moves in with Alice, a queer singer-songwriter. As they navigate identity and displacement, they reveal hidden pasts and form a friendship rooted in resilience, safety, and belonging.

IMPACT CAMPAIGN:

  • Attend universities and screen our film in front of classes and students, and collect quantifiable data through questionnaires on what they learned from the film, their takeaways, and their legal and emotional understanding of queer refugees.

  • Through our queer refugee NGO partnership, we will use our collected data and film to educate people on how they can support queer refugees and learn more about their journeys of displacement and their journeys towards finding a new home.

  • Private screenings with queer refugee NGO partners, changemakers, and thought leaders.
